When 10% Won’t Cut It, You Need Infinite
Good morning my friend!
Today’s dose of hope is three things you SHOULD NOT do after you experience trauma, tragedy, or other massive things (TMT’s).
* Do not think that the goal is to get back to “how I used to feel.” It’s not possible. You’re changed by TMT, but you CAN learn to be happy again. It will be different, but it can also be beautiful.
* Do not turn your pain into an idol that defines the rest of your life.
* Do not put on a fake smile and pretend you’re okay. You need to heal.
A good place to start the healing is to learn the treatment plan I teach you in my new book, Hope Is the First Dose.
Today’s podcast is a great look at these three “don’t do’s” after TMT. Here’s a computer-generated transcript for those of you who don’t like to listen.
Here’s a few fun things for you!
You can now order tee shirts and other gear from the podcast and my books! Check out the store here:
And we have a new YouVersion/Bible App 5-Day Bible Study available now!
Finally, my new book is coming out on Tuesday, July 18! Two more days!
You can pre-order Hope is the First Dose: A Treatment Plan for Recovering from Trauma, Tragedy, and Other Massive Things! Coming July 18 everywhere books are sold.
There are major bonuses you can get by pre-ordering, including a great playlist of hopeful songs, three chapters of the book, lock screens for your phone, and more!
It’s a fact, friend: life’s going to bring you trauma and tragedy and other massive things, but it’s also going to offer you hope, healing, and happiness. You can have both. And I’m going to teach you how.
It’s not about equipoise, it’s about hope. The good news is, you can start today!
Remember, friend: you can’t change your life until you change your mind. I’m here to remind you that there is a treatment plan. And hope is the first dose.
Lisa and I are praying for you.
